If not stored at the correct RH - in a humidor - a screw cap won?t make a difference. How is the RH being maintained if not in a stable environment? Think about it this way... I?ve noticed that even just opening my humidor for 5 seconds to select a cigar will make the RH drop immediately by at least 1 or 2%. I should imagine that after a week or two, any humidity would have seeped from the tube and after this point the stick will start to dry out.
Well only of the screw top is not air tight.
Which I've no idea if it is.

In the interests of Science (which coming from a Creative, may be very little haha) I have a tube right here next to me, so will try this experiment and update the thread as and when there is something to report. I know you'll all be on the edges of your seats, but try to just go about your days as normal ; )
