  • Corinthia - Garden Lounge

My company moved offices this week and I am now a bit further east than before, which means the cigar lounge I used to go to (Dunhill) is a bit too far away. I found the Corinthia hotel to serve cigars in their garden lounge.

Does anybody know if you can bring your own cigars or is that frowned upon? Their prices for cigars are exorbitant.

You can smoke your own, no problem.

One of my favourite places to head although not the warmest, location is spot on for me, 15mins on a train into waterloo and a nice stroll across the water.

'not the warmest'... I assume it's outdoors smoking only then? Do they have heaters or something or are you fully exposed to the elements?

They have plenty of heaters and a couple of fireplaces.
I haven't been since they mentioned putting some glass canopy so not sure how that is.

Last but not least, is there wifi? I sometimes go for a cigar during work, when I have some creative task at hand and can use a change of scenery, but I still need to be online.

Oh, OK... The minimum spend is a deal breaker then....

That's a shame... But I guess it makes sense when they peddle cigars for ?100 plus. I guess my winter smoking will be reduced further then in future...

I don't find minimum spends are ever that enforced myself.

                    I emailed them:

"I am delighted that you wish to join us in the Garden Lounge. The minimum spend is ?35.00 after 6pm and we operate a walk in only policy and so invite you to arrive and enjoy the area at your leisure."

Looks like the minimum spend is after 6pm. I shall give the Garden Lounge a try this week then.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

I did last week. Tea was very nice, the service as well. It's not sunny, as it's deep between buildings, but the atmosphere is very pleasant. Definitely worth the visit if you want a place to smoke.
