A great aristocrat to start the day. Reminds me of the punch rs, really mellow.

A lovely Punch from secret santa. So far I loved every secret santa cigar from last year. Sadly I dropped this one just before lighting. Still tastes great.

So for second smoke of the day I took the dogs for a ?hope they will not run away? walk in a big park without a leash and brought a P Shorts (50 cab). Pretty stormy here today, and stick burned uneven, but good that it was a shorts because the burn and everything went sideways, AND I can not come to terms with this smoke. I love the 898 and the Gigantes even from young, but the Shorts, hmmmm....
Any particular trick to this smoke, more aging etc. will be highly appreciated.

A 2016 Connie A courtesy of Alex. My first one that didn?t come out of a 2013 box. A good way to sample later production in view of a future box purchase.

The trademark of the greatest winemakers are, that they make just that - even when times are bad.
From the worst CdP vintage in the memory of man, he managed even this beauty!

A delicious Oliva V Melanio today courtesy of @grumpybaldy and a strange but very new pairing, it went great with a Cadbury's Cream Egg. Thanks Chris.

Just had a very disappointing Jose Piedra.
Had it in the humidor for ages and thought I'd smoke it to free some space. [emoji1785]

However long you age them they always seem to have that bitterness that coats your teeth. Had a similar experience with a 5 year old one last year.

As promised, a third smoke of the day. Great Lusi, I love these in the company of a great wine.
Hope you had a good one brothers![emoji41]

Agreed. Very bitter and generally unpleasant. Only smoked half then added it to the flowerbed! Hopefully my roses prefer it.

                              Hoyo Epi.2 from 2016.

A nice pleasant smoke. Not sure I would by a box though.
