    RIP Simon

although not exactly a friend ... I have smoked a few cigars with him ... one of his favorite places for a smoke was the comodoro with santos Kathy Andrea and Farrah .

when the siglo VI grande reservas came out (in ?09 or ?10) I asked him his opinion of the gr?s Versus original ?03 siglo VI?s ... his answer was ? in London ... experts feel ... if you have ?03 siglo VI?s ... hang on to them? .

    once again ... RIP Simon

I was absolutely gutted to hear of his passing while I was on holiday. An absolute gentleman, with astonishing knowledge of cigars and the cigar world, I was truly blessed having met him and herf'd with him on many an occasion. He will be sorely missed.

RIP Mr Chase, a truly sad loss to the industry.

I never spoke to him personally, i do remember seeing him at Foxes once and just his presence alone was inspiring, wish i had the chance to speak.
