  • Hi from Glasgow

    Hi everyone!

Thought I'd put a post up rather than just lurking, currently living in Glasgow and fairly newly to cigars.

Was given an R&J Churchill at a recent wedding and discovered how enjoyable it was, since whilst away I have been trying a few different brands but nothing too fancy (R&J, Cohiba, Partagas & Montecristo) so far I'm a big fan of the Short Churchill's as I rarely find time for a much longer smoke than that it seems.

Got a trip coincidentally booked to Cuba next month so any tips on that would be appreciated.

Guess I probably need somewhere more than a tupperware box for them at this rate too!

Cheers for the welcome everyone, looks like I may have found somewhere else for money to disappear mysteriously!

Welcome onboard! Sure you'll love your trip to Cuba, you can check out my blog on my trip a few yes ago. Not that up to date obviously but having been a couple of times since, the last Nov '18, I'd say thee only real change is that its even harder to find any interesting cigars. However at entry level you should find plenty you have tried & plenty more you haven't.
Just incase you haven't heard the buzz yet, only buy from official Habanos shops, keep the receipts for Customs when leaving the country & don't buy from 'relatives' of factory workers or Co-Operatives, they'll all be fake.
