• Greetings from Salisbury

Hi everyone. Name's David. Used to be a member of the now defunct Club Havana, which I still miss badly for the camaraderie and box splits.

I've been smoking a lot less cigars recently and have tried my hand at non-cubans. I really, really tried but decided in the end they are just a waste of air so have now just ordered a couple of Cubans again - a tasty looking pair of Bolivar BFs which I recall as being delicious. Almost went for a pack of ERDM Its too but in the end went for just the BFs for the great and simple pleasure of such a beast.

No one makes cigars like Cuba.

Anyway, that's me. Hello.

David

Nah. U need to re-earn PM privs. They basically expire when you stop being active for a long while. Takes a few months of being active member again.

Welcome back.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Ah I see. Buggah!!

That'll make joining in splits all the.more difficult. Does it also exclude me from the sales forum or is that just very quiet?

Hi David
Welcome, good to see a fellow aficionado close by - and a fly fisherman too!

Welcome aboard. Vitola, - fly fishermen?? I didn’t know there were any flyfishermen aboard. I’ve been with the fly for 50 years - and I’m the hookmaker

Thanks guys. I used to be in SDAC as I live so close but have been a member for a couple of years due to work. I have two jobs...keeps me busy.

Welcome to the forum David.
A couple of hundred posts and active for around three months will probably see you given PM's and access to sales/splits.

Welcome back!

Kind of agree with your non-Cuban assessment however I have found Oliva and Liga Undercrowns to be exceptions.
