  • Simwells? Scubador

    Hi!

    So I?m freshly back from Cuba and couldn?t recommend it more absolutely love the country!

    Thought I?d start a thread from the early beginnings, starting with what?s currently sat in a scuba tub waiting to see what I bought while away! Probably only had about 30-40 cigars before going away so early days for me on what looks to be the new addiction!

    All the new purchases are just out the freezer so photos of those will need to wait.

          Is that a little widget to stop the shorter stick from moving around?! What a time to be alive.
          Stay smoky

            Haha yeah admittedly that is a longer smoke than I tend to prefer!

            The little widget is supposedly a humidifier I wouldn’t trust it to do much though.

                Couldn’t recommend it more even if you didn’t smoke cigars, ridiculously cheap once there too it not in one of the big resorts or hotels.

                Out of interest I found myself really wanting one of the giant (2’ish) cigar tubes that some of the shops sell, but couldn’t for the life of me think of a use for it. Anyone got one and found a point in them past an ornament?

                    Looking fwd to seeing your new sticks, fresh from the freezer (don't forget a couple of days in the fridge afterwards). Your original collection was modest but all classic cigars.

                      Yes they?ve been in there about a day so far managed to be patient so far but it?s a struggle!

                      Only item I brought back from Cuba that wasn?t smokable or drinkable;

                        Love these and the heritage behind them. Hopefully they'll be there if I go to Cuba!

                          Yes it’s a really interesting hotel, wouldn’t stay there again but the history is really interesting.

                          They had piles of them (6 sizes of round and two other shapes) they’re clearly a big seller for them so I’m sure they’ll have them long into the future.

                              So these are now out the fridge and trying not to play with them too much, finally got the start of a small collection I reckon!

                              These were the only banded cigars I knew I was definitely planning on picking up.
