I loved them on release and still love them. Great smoke.
None to be seen here in Seville though. Completely sold out.
The LGC D5 look quite thin on the ground too. I've only seen a few singles and no boxes. It seems unlikely that 50,000 have nearly sold out already?!?!?

wow... the LGC D5 was something the main stores had in relative abundance. That and Sevilla edition jars of stuff... I guess it was 9 /10 months ago... did you find the cigar store within the department store yet? they seemed to have reasonable stock with some age too.

The LGC D5 was pretty reasonably priced which must have helped quite a bit. And if you look at the US FB groups it seems that every cigar smoker in the US purchased 5 boxes of them. Alberto must have sent 10k boxes to the US, lol!

Yes. I have a couple of friends in the US who go for quite a few boxes when they buy from him because his shipping cost is so high. I always go for 4 boxes when I purchase an RE from him, 3 for me and 1 for a friend. I think that the Spanish are working their RE angle pretty well: cheap 10 count boxes seem to be their thing. Box numbers go up with each new release so they sell. People tend to buy 3 or more boxes if a box is priced at around €80.

El Corte Ingles? Nice humidor but again only a few singles of the LGC.
Those Sevilla Kate are everywhere as are the 'Year Of the....." Cohiba release. I'm tempted with a box of the Siglo IV version though.....

El Corte Ingles... yes... their 'stock' seemed in good order and was reasonably broad. Palacio del fumador was probably the second best. I found most others to be a bit spartan...

A couple of friends bought five boxes D5 for me a month and a half ago in Madrid. They were standing in piles to the ceiling, so I don?t think people need to worry too much [emoji41]
