  • New Anejados announced

Two new Anejados have been announced. The first one, an RyJ Churchill should hit stores soon.

The second one will be the Trinidad Fundadores.

I hate the Anejados line and will never buy a box of those as they all have been shite IMO. But I have to say that I?m curious about the Fundadores and will probably try a single.

    Hmmm...... Very dubious about these.
The only one that's been really good was the Partagas.... And I suppose the HdM.
The RyJ and the Monte were utter kack

Why is the Anejedos line so divisive? Is it due to the prices charged or more to it than that?

I almost never hear of complaints about aged cigars people have left themselves but there?s a lot of negative info on this series.

Yep. Agree on the Party but it still wasn?t box worthy.

I thought the whole Anejados range was that they weren't in regular production

Because it?s shady. I don?t believe that HSA is telling us the truth about them. I have trouble believing that they have boxes of stuff that was rolled 10 years ago just lying around in some warehouse when they have trouble to bring sufficient stock of regular production to the market.

Fair point there! I guess Habanos are hardly going to become transparent in general so we?ll never know

The RyJ Churchill's are tubed as well, did they slide each cigar out of it's tube to re-band?

hmm... I cant believe that Habanos work in a just in time/ make to order environment.

There will be a healthy mix of aged tobaccos and aged sticks to get to the Anejados 'promise'. Lets be honest, these are not regulated products in the sense that paracetamol is... all of their sticks are rolled to an in house blend, not a scientific formulae which must be adhered to.. and this mix will vary according to harvest & quality.

Anyhow cant help but think that it would be madness to consider that each harvest is gathered processed and rolled. Same, I reckon they really would pull sticks from tubes!

But as someone wiser said above, who knows what goes on inside Cuba and the hive mind of Habanos SA.

Well they've kept the moon landing hoax well hidden for a long time so who knows...

personally i think they actually did land on the moon. the moving flag in zero atmosphere is debunked as the moon is a hollow, alien observation ship that is still ringing like a bell after we fired our (ancient) nuclear weapons at it (moon craters)

For the record Partagas i liked and Montecristo was ok too. Tried 2 Upmanns, didn't like the flavour so much. Not tried the others. Now here's the thing...
