I've just found these...not In my humi just online. A gimmick or a genuinely Good cigar? Knowing Cohiba, maybe a bit of both...seeing the packaging probably more gimmick. Definitely a high end product but if it was music I'd be tempted to shout "Judas!" However I cant blame a company for trying to add value and reap the benefits...its what they exist for I guess. They do look good and it is one band I would not remove.

Anyway, all at nearly a hundred pounds a stick I doubt that I shall ever taste One.

They seem to be reviewed well but stealing another well known Cigar brand name to make a high end brand is a very odd tact that I?d struggle to support. Or is that not the situation?

It?s General Cigars brand that they have called Cohiba supposed to be Dominican made versions of Cohibas but as far as I know there?s no relationship with the real Cohiba.

They make a number of different ?knock off? Cuba brands outside of Cuba, decent smokes I believe but I don?t agree with the approach.

There's Cuban Cohiba and NC Cohiba [emoji854]

There's plenty other CC brand names that have been used by NC producers too.

Didn?t realise a lot of that, cheers for that. I?d still struggle to support a non Cuban Cohiba though, doesn?t exactly have the same legitimacy of the other brands

              Cohiba is an exception

Its not quite as simple as that for most brands - the owners of the brands before the revolution took the names with them to new countries after Castro nationalised the CC versions

Hmmm. Me too. I thought a brand was a brand...seems not.
