I have just had my second one tonight - much milder than the first one and I think I prefer the more muted flavour profile - seems more balanced than the dark one

Yes I'd be interested to hear as there's no way I'll ever be able to guess this one!

Alright guys, it's time for the reveal.

Vitola wins this round. The cigar is indeed blended and produced by the same guys that made the Dalay Limitada.

This limited edition was release previously to the Dalay Limitada and is called "Affentanz Affezibbel". It combines Brazilian tobacco with Dominican organic harvests. They were sold separately or in mixed boxes like the ones I got for this.

You can read a Halfwheel review and more information about the tobacco and all here:

While not well-known in the American cigar market, German cigar distributor Dalay Zigarren is a large player in its home country and also has

Now, the bad news is, it was a small production and it's almost sold out. I don't think it sells outside of Germany, but if anybody wants to buy some, PM me and I'll let you know where they are still available. But if you do plan to buy some, be quick, they won't be in stock for much longer.

Hope you all enjoyed this one!

Nice one thanks Nils! A really nice way to compare a couple of very similar smokes!

It's funny, I spoke to the owner of the shop last week and told him that it was about 50/50 who prefered the dark/blonde. Sales wise, the dark sold a lot faster than the blonde and he himself prefers the dark one.

I also spoke to Michael, who blended these. I asked him about the different size, wondering if the bright ones were shorter because the wrapper leaves were smaller. But he assured me the only reason was that the flavour was simply better for the bright one, when slightly shorter.

There are some videos of him talking about how they blended it and sourced the tobacco. Sadly it's all in German.
