Anyone tried this and been successful?

Ive seen a few videos online and is as simple as adding a shot glass in a Tupperware box with cigars ? but is it worth it. like does it actually work?

    Im a Whisky Lover etc...

When I saw the start of this thread I was going to say something to the effect of , 'what sort of Philistine...', but actually, the Ameretto really appeals!

Not worth wasting a good Cognac or a s**t brandy for that matter

It's got to be worth a try. Always worth trying something new.

Would this not significantly increase the humidity in the box? Or would you replace your humidification device for your chosen spirit?

I'm at work and can't watch the video right now so apologies if this is blindingly obvious

You could always soak a used Boveda in your favourite spirit.

from what ive seen online - i have the same questions about humidity etc. all the guides just say either coat a humidor in your poison or use a shot glass. this would taint the humidor so tupperware is used - this would create high humidity but its only for a few weeks. probably wouldnt matter much?

for a long term infusion, using a soaked boveda and keeping the separate sound right?

I wonder if it would work with Coca Cola?
