  • Purchase recommendations please

I have had an empty humidor for some time now, however the "to be ex" is taking our children away for a week so this allows me some me time (and a window of opportunity to get some cigars delivered ).
I can't spend much so need to keep the overall to be under ?200.
Please can you recommend a selection of medium to full body, low strength, tasty sticks. I like desert type flavours and smooth thick smoke.
In order to maximise the smokes, no expensive sticks. Anything that lasts an hour is perfect. Hoping to get about 20 to tide me over till I can celebrate freedom.
    Cheers

got PM's? there are a few vendors you ought to consider.

alternatively straight up go for a Fonseca no1. economical on the pocket and quite a rich well flavoured smoke
for ?200 you may be best looking at shorter format sticks - petit robusto... etc

These would be my recommendations -
Ramone Allones Specially Selected, Fuente Hemingway Short Story, Oliva Series V Lancero, (serves you up a three course meal), Rosa de San Diego, ERDM Choix Supreme, Vegeuros Entriempos, Diamond Crown Julius Caesar (just stellar), Aging Room M356 Rondo, Rafael Gonzales RE Baltic North Star, HdM Epi No2, Por Larranaga Monte-carlo

              Hi
Yes I do have PMs though I've never bought from anyone on here yet.
I have tried the Fonseca before and really didn't find it suited my palette. I thought it very bland.

I am happy to give everything another go, new start and never say no kind of attitude right now.

I'll look through those later tonight. I've had some before (the RASS is already on my list but I'll have to find some cheaper sticks too). The Oliva V in lancero is interesting as I've not had that size before.

Cheers Shamz I'll look at those too.
I suspect I'll be trying to stay in budget rather than trying to find some suitable sticks

I placed an order with my usual retailer and stock arrived this morning.
However one of the sticks has a large crack running for almost half its length. (Photo).
Is this acceptable or would I be right to raise it with them. Not as though it was in a cello wrapper it was loose and pretty obvious.
                        Cheers 20190726_122144.jpg

A UK retailer should be happy to replace it and ashamed to have supplied it

If you bought from the site sponsor in sure they'll certainly replace this. Otherwise hope your source does too!

Ok so it is reasonable to raise as a problem.
Thanks. First time this has happened and they've always given great service so far.
