Smoked my first of these today at the Edinburgh fringe, lovely smoke and definitely got some age to them but no idea how long! Smooth and creamy with an almost leathery taste and a surprising spicy note in the back. I had been drinking for a fair few hours before this though

Had my first last night, shared with my son. His first comment..."wow, this is so smooth. Very good" And so it was. A very smooth smoke, Good ash with no droppings, clean burn and a consistent draw from start to finish. If anything the draw was too easy - it seemed quite early on that the previously discussed "mintiness" or heat burn kicked in and the final third needed smoking very gently. This in itself both prolonged and enhanced the pleasure.

All in all a good gentle smoke, rich in flavour but not maduro or robusto rich, can certainly tell the age from the lack of 'edge'.

Had mine today....for once I somehow I streached it to an hour.....seems quite young to me 2017 / 2018 imo...didn't even use a cutter...just ripped the pig tale and was a perfect draw

A little spice upfront. Smoothed out. Lovely flavours. Mild but not weak.

Twisted off the tail. Nice medium Greek coffee. Lovely pairing.

Thats what I thought...till id finished it. I felt like id smoked Belicosos finos! These COTM are darned good smokes, whatever they are.

Nice. I found a difference been the two I smoked through today. The first was a fair bit smoother than the second. The second went out a lot. I'd have easily been led to believe the first was a few years more mature than the second.

Both from the same box, and smoked only half a day apart. Make of that what you will.
