Yes definitely give them resting time - I particularly love the D5 when aged a little. And you can?t beat the 8-9-8

The unvarnished went out of production some time ago - I think if any are about it would be when they come up in auction. They are classed as a long corona 42 x155 and went out of production around 2002. The main difference for me was the earlier one had a stronger tobacco taste, very earthy flavours along with coffee beans dark chocolate with lots of pepper some spices - otherwise the flavour profiles are very similar.
The varnished 8-9-8 is classed as a Lonsdale 43 x 170 and it?s as if the strength has been dialled back a little, but every bit as enjoyable in my opinion

Not to sure I'm thinking around 300 depending on size, ive got a few boxes to go in and about 150 singles hoping for some spare space if not ive got the tuppadors as back up
