Just smoking in the wind waiting for the rains to hit!

Tight bugger this one. Should demand a refund! And canoeing all over the place. [emoji35] #FWP

Just popped my Bolivar cherry. Thus far im enjoying it. my only criticism is of my own doing. Should of used the damn punch [emoji23] v-cut a bit big. Oh well what's a journey without learning.

Me too but IMHO still to young to show it's best, wasn't overly impressed on the one I tried last Nov, still that's 9months ago. Sure they will improve with a few years on them, like the PL ER2010 Asia Pacific.

If they are true to the Marca DNA then they’ll shine from 5+. Is that the feeling you got from them Simon?

Well part of me agrees with Simon in that age will improve them, but they are nice smoke - you can taste the potential.

It started out - mainly dark expresso, bitter chocolate some earthy flavours. The second third is definitely where it starts to sing - the bitter chocolate/expresso persists, but overlaid with stewed fruits/burnt bitter caramel and nutty flavours (which I found rather nice) you can tell in the retrohale, there are some complex subtle flavours - hay, caramel, leather, dough, spice which will only get better with age. Leaves a lovely coating in your mouth after smoking.

I paired this one with a peanut/chocolate stout which was perfect for realising the bitter/sweet flavours

Nice, sounds good. Certainly sounds like the PL profile. What stout did you have? I’ve just bough some BrewDog Zombie Cake this week for my next cigars, praline chocolate porter
