[emoji23][emoji23] will be lucky if they last 10 months! The only problem with finding something you really enjoy makes it very annoying when you smoke something new and don?t enjoy it.

What’s the box code on these? (Stamp on back of box)

I've smoked two or three boxes of these. One of Cuba's finest.
            Great choice!

Thats the serial number. The box code will be found on the bottom of the box (not the back - language issue ) its the factory code + a date stamp, e.g.
                UAO MAR 19.

You had me worried for a minute. A lot of googling about boxes, so at least I learned something new about the codes.

Boxes codes used to be of interest, back in the day when it was possible to figure out which fry had rolled your cigars, some factories having a better reputation than others. Biut you can still have a roller having a bad day in the best factory so there never was any certainty. But a while back they changed the system so it's more random & much harder to follow so apart from El Laguito - Cohiba's factory, https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attracti...ince_Cuba.html I don't worry about the codes just the date.

Anybody here still interested in Box codes? If so what are you after & what are you trying to avoid? And when it comes to the bad years of 2000 & 2001, time has resolved many of those problems & I have ditched very few cigars from that era. In fact if I had avoided those yrs I would have missed out on many of my finest vintage smokes!

Correct Simon, as I said I only asked for it because this gentleman wants to run a test on how they will change over time and I was curious about his starting point [emoji41]
