After reading quite a bit on here I decided to order a box of something I?ve tried and liked to see if I can tell the difference after smoking them months apart.

This box is from May 2018, purchased from a seller on MeWe. Let me know what you think.

I am no expert on the latest tax bands ect but they look genuine enough to me. Let us know how they smoke m& how they progress as you keeping trying them a few months apart; I'd suggest 3months apart & take notes each time.

Thanks guys, I ran the serial number and it checks out, the bands seem identical to the one I ordered from Cgars so I?m pretty happy they?re legit, hopefully I?ll get time to smoke one later this afternoon so I?ll be able to see how they compare to the one from Cgars as well.

they look legit to me... but in the end its all about how they taste, legit or otherwise! A nice smoke is simply that...a nice smoke, hopefully at a good price!

Well said Matt. Remember last year when tommy exposed a guy on Facebook selling cigars as Cuban custom rolls but they weren't? The sad thing is they're really nice smokes, I've still got mine.

I?m a beastly chap, I don?t like being conned. What actually happened is that the bloke in question had some lovely Cuban CR?s which sold very well. He then started selling cheap NC?s in their place. He got greedy.
You got yours early I suspect.

yes... I remember it well! I didn't realise that it was tommy on Sherlock duty though - good on him!

The daft dude flogging them should have just called them out as a CR that tastes good from wherever.... wouldn't have trashed his reputation, wouldn't have taken so much cash, but would no doubt still be selling them.

I do like the BHK52's provided from our friend in Rome... but they aint BHK's! no matter what I am told ...they just aren't. They are good quality CR's which deserve credit for that!

Exactly right. He would have been able to sell them honestly.

Just finished one, definitely legit compared to the one from Cgars. Solid smoke, lasted an hour, great flavour. After smoking a mix of CC and NC now I can tell the difference between them if not the actual flavours within.

Even from a non trusted UK source still relatively pricey but barely more than a double Monkey 47 in a nice pub in London so for me they?re good value. Will wait a few months and hopefully get a mild day in early winter to try another.

I have a tubo of one of these. Been resting about two years. Will need to try it soon. The box looks fantastic. Enjoy.
