  • This is my current favourite watch, got it several years ago. It’s an early ‘60’s, 1961 , Omega seamastter automatic with crosshairs dial.

      • I've always said that some people deserve to be victims. Had a report yesterday from a guy who sold his Rolex for £16k on a legitimate watch trading website and posted it off on the word of the buyer that the money was in escrow
As the fraudsters say, there's one born every minute.

Take it from me, they are. No insurance company would pay out for that, culpable negligence.

They are comfy but the problem is no adjustability, same on the Nautilus, so that is an area where Rolex are far ahead, esp with their glidelock clasp. The rubber has to actually be cut so you can't even take it off to adjust it, so some people I know have two straps one for winter and one for summer cut at different lengths.

Didn’t know that, given the price I wouldn’t of expected that at all.

Yup and when they do put an adjustable clasp on them the price will be knocked up a grand or three.

                              • To be fair until a few years ago rolex clasps were horrific - felt like an aluminium can. Luxury good take the piss because they can.
