I have forgotten my password...I want to log in via a new phone but cant. Ive tried changing my password but the first thing it asks for is...my current password!

What the best way round this?

    ha. yes.

try logging in incorrectly 5 times and THEN it locks you out and gives you this link https://www.ukcigarforums.com/login.php?do=lostpw

    try that link.

Yeah very strange. You'd normally expect a "forgot my password " button to reset via your email.
Good to know how this site works.

I tried that link but it does not send an email to the address shown. Ive managed to get back in because my laptop knows the password but its so fast I cant see any clues at all. I have tried to reset it many times now but the system has not sent me a single email. Yes, I checked spam, junk, trash, etc etc etc no email.

            help!!

If your laptop has saved your password then try this to find what's been saved.
In Chrome, click the icon on the right with the three horizontal lines and choose Settings. In the left-hand column choose Settings and then click the "Show advanced settings" link at the bottom of the screen. Scroll down to "Passwords and forms" and click the "Manage saved passwords" link

If you'd said you were using a Mac we'd have referred you to 'keychain'

Sorry. in fact had that happened I'd have simply not understood...I have not heard of keychain. But thank you.
