  • Flying to destination vs Import tax

Is it cheaper to just pay the import tax (if applicable) if I order online from EU & non EU countries rather than going there for the day just to get a couple of boxes?

Maybe use it as an excuse for a long weekend away somewhere nice. I?m trying to find an excuse to head to Geneva at the moment.

Geneva is outside the EU so you will be limited to 50 cigars each

Indeed, one of our Northern brothers found ?45 returns from Glasgow earlier in the year.

Highly recommended a trip to Geneva and Gestos. Cigar heaven in a beautiful city.

Assuming we’re still in the EU and you want more than 50 sticks Barcelona would be my choice

Second Barcelona. Might be a few slightly cheaper places but the selection cant be beat. All sorts of aged stuff to be found. Dont even need to go to the main shops, even the small tobacconists have things like 20 year old siglos at the same price... Its nuts.
