  • ?Cheaper? Cohiba alternative

This may have been asked before or could just be a stupid question but I?m going to ask anyway

Cohibas are known for a very distinctive flavour, I?ve only had a few but I really enjoyed them but at their price I just can?t justify smoking them over so many of the alternatives.

Why have no other brands tried to mimic the same sort of flavours? Or have they and I?m just missing the answer? Does anything come close to being similar?

I think the qdo is similar. Same ballpark anyway.

One person suggested the COTM could be a Cohiba but discounted it on price. Wait for the reveal [emoji6]

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Really liked the QdO 50, can?t get 54?s anywhere. I didn?t personally taste the comparison to Cohiba but still a great smoke.

I?ll keep my eye on the thread, hopefully I?ll have PM?s soon enough and can take part in these.

Cohiba is IMHO quite distinct. I’d stop looking for a direct comparison as i dont think its there to be had. Some of the custom rolled cohiba vitola clones have a hint of cohiba about them but i’m reasonably convinced we are in the realms of the power of suggestion rather than matching blends and quality of tobacco leaf etc.... BUT there are other medium rich flavoured sticks to try....

the upmann mags are similar weight of flavour to cohibas as are diplomaticos but both have a distinct flavour of their own.
