Following on; trying my first from my Winter selection. This the Trini Mini, short & pleasent but couldn't have guessed the brand on a blind tasting.
We thi k of this vitola as a recent development but here are a couple of my 1960's UK Clear Havana's, turns out they are the same size.

Last week I was looking at some Cohiba and Trinidad shorts for a really quick winter smoke, even a petit corona takes me 35-40 minutes which is unbearable in the evenings now. Are these worth picking up? For around ?2 each on Cgars they seem like a no brainer but I don?t want a glorified cigarette [emoji23]

Sounds like a cheap enough gamble on the shorts to see if you like them. I've had a few and they are nice enough little sticks! Esp with a nice hot coffee for these days!

And nice heater Midas. I had one of those. Very effective under a cover. But moved to an electric. Which isn't as effective, so I'll get a second electric!
          .--
I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Wow! Hadn't noticed there was a Punch 898,have a couple of boxes of the German RA's though.
Midas, Mini's OK if you have to scratch that itch but I'd prefer Machine made or Party Short/TCP/RGPX.
This afternoon's smoke, Lusi 1998, not many of these left. Lush.

How is it??? The FOH video review lauded these, would love to get a box based on that review

Yeah, but those guys are biased to the bone
Its young, but not young and filled with ammonia so thats good. It is more mellow and settled (June 19). What comes to immediate mind is a mix between a Punch DC and the forer RA 898 Allemanha. Its definitely going to become good to great, but only time will tell the difference. Ill get a few boxes more for certain. BTW this one had a slightly tight draw, which I for certain had not expected. Its an expensive stick and should have a perfect roll.
Wish Habanos would do more this size in stead of those damned Montescos

Slightly tight is ok.... It's when the whole box is liked tent pegs. Have a punch Swiss re supermos box that everyone is like a baseball bat, truly gutting.
If you hit on a source for these punch 898 I'd appreciate a tip off
