Had the smaller one just now after getting a load of staples out of my stomach.

Really enjoyed it, full of flavour and really varied through the smoke, definitely wouldn?t be guessing Cuban but I would say not something with more than 2-3 years on it. The draw was fairly tight and had some burn issues and need relights unexpectedly at times but lovely flavour throughout

Just had the smaller one, I had a perfect burn and draw throughout. Great transition of flavours, smoked for around an hour.

No idea what it was but I?d definitely smoke more of those.

Picked mine up from the PO yesterday. Good looking cigars, hope I'll have the opportunity to light at least one of them up in the next few days.

Had both of mine and neither really floated my boat I'm afraid.

Half way through the larger one atm, smaller was definitely the better imo. I?d say this is an NC, not bad but I probably wouldn?t buy more.

Just finished the smaller one. Quite a strong flavour and reminds me of something I've had before but not in that size nor can I recall what it reminded me of.

Had the larger one today. The first half was not great. Lots of pepper and little other flavours. Second half however was the complete opposite and I enjoyed it very much. Though I initially enjoyed the smaller one more, the large one proofed to be more varied and interesting, while the small one was nice but two-dimensional.

Larger one again had strong flavour (like a strong black coffee) then absolutely kicked my ass with nicotine. Felt quite sick for a while after even with sugar.
Don't know if my tastes are changing but I don't seem to like the stronger cigars I used to.

                    Happy New Year All

I nearly forgot to reveal the culprits -
The smaller one was Por Larranaga Montecarlo (Jun 2018) and the larger one was the Oliva Serie V Lancero

Sounds like the Montecarlo was the fave. Nice. Should stock up on these too. Had only one and liked it.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Excellent choices, didn't have a clue and I've had both multiple times.

Ah so that's why they were familiar. Had both in the past.
Thanks for hosting my first joined COTM.
