I'm off to France for the hols and though I haven't fully decided on my travel smokes, I'll definitely be taking December's COTM from Vitola (maybe both), perhaps one of the recent AF's from PeeJay, a a whole host of others. One thing is guaranteed, I'll be taking more than I can reasonably smoke, just to be sure!

I've not been into them long enough to age any really but I can't say that I've noticed any great difference with the older ones over the newer ones but that is more likely down to my palate. I think I look to age to soften some of the stronger ones. I do recall buying a very old one at auction for @MarkLondon and when he smoked it it had the most incredible fruity aroma like nothing else.

As an addendum, many smokers regards Fuente's Casa Cuba as just a step down from the Opus X range. I was given as aged one of these and it was so smooth and naturally sweet that I sourced a box and they're completely different. Now they're sleeping.
