If I plan to take a trip to Germany which destination should I look at for choice?

Also Rich B was in Dusseldorf last week, so worth checking out his post from cigarworld lounge.

That all depends what you want from your trip, and the time of year. If it?s a city break Berlin is an amazing city to visit. The Baltic coastal area of Travemunde & Lubeck are elegant resorts. Some people (the German Tourist Board) liken the area to St Tropez.

In the south Munich and Neider Bayern is a beautiful area to visit. I could go on and on.

Most big cities have good cigar outlets and quite often good lounges as well.

Just looking for a quick layover which has a couple of cigar outlets, a lounge would be a bonus but not essential.

So you are not looking for a stay in Germany, just drive there for a day? Not sure I understand what you are after tbh.

Do you want to fly there? Drive?

If you're in Hamburg, the LCDH has a small smoking area & worth picking up any German ER's you want, rather than risk having them posted

I was there on Monday and was rather disappointed. Very small selection. They did have some talisman left though. Hamburg itself is definitely worth a visit though.

I only visit D?sseldorf when I go back to Germany since my family lives there so I won't be of much help. Berlin was pretty cool though 20 years ago, it probably still is.

I love Cigarworld and go once every time I'm in town.

I lived there 30 years ago and it was cool then. Still visit regularly and it?s still great.

Dusseldorf could be a good call, Easyjet fly there from Gatwick which I can get to in 35 mins. As long as its a fairly walkable city & has good internal transport links I am happy.

Indeed, they were short last time I was there, would suggest phoning ahead & if they have anything you fancy reserve. Certainly advise against ordering online, they have caused significant problems in the past.

Yes, the city centre isn?t that big and transport is pretty good. There is another LCDH which you can look up on google but it?s a little more fancy and rather small. You should definitely pay Cigarworld a visit if you go to D?sseldorf though. Or both.

Indeed.... Very frustrating to deal with. I'll never order from them again!

The Paul Bugge store is fantastic as well but it?s nowhere near anything really (about an hour south of Stuttgart) mainly just focuses on mail order but I have got a friend to visit previously that happened to be nearby.
