  • A Tight Draw

I have had a few recently, they seem to be like buses with certain brands & me, rather than play around with it hoping for improvement would you just write it off and start another? I know you can get tools out there to maybe fix the issue!! I know going in that quality control can be an issue so maybe I should just go with another brand and see if I get better value for money.

Never written one off, invested in a perfect draw and never looked back since. Is it cubans or non cubans your having trouble with

I am roughly running around 62%, didn't think that would matter!!

At 62% I'd be surprised you're causing the draw issues. Have you calibrated your hygrometer/s? What kind of humidification device/s are you using? Is it a table top humidor or a cabinet?

Is the draw firm or completely plugged you can't draw anything? Are you comparing to NC wind tunnels? Have you tried a Cuban cigar you haven't stored yourself?

Are you comparing this to all NCs you?ve tried or just certain? It sounds like you like a looser draw than is common on Cubans, as many seem designed to be smoked slower than NCs. Only real answer is perfecdraw or to not smoke Cubans!

I don't really smoke many NC cigars, I smoke 95% Cubans. Have now invested in a perfect draw tool as a Christmas present to myself.

I wrote a couple off, took em back to my tobacoonist (Havana house Hove - may as well give em a plug as they did good) and they replaced them! A cc and an NC actually come to think of it. I don't own a perfect draw yet.
                      Stay smoky

Honestly buy the pd...Im a smoker of both NC and cc and Cubans always tend to be tighter with the odd 1 or 2 being plugged..really annoying if you haven't got a pd but with 1 you can save a ruined stick or even if it's just tight you can loosen it to your preferred..it's a no brainer honestly..just don't do as I have and put it straight through the side..I'd had a few sherbets! ..today's top tip!

Wow. I'm honestly surprised as the experience here. I'm surely not so lucky to literally only have had a half dozen plugged CC in many many years.

Obvs can't explain it. But glad you have ordered the PD and long may it serve you!

I've had 4 out of 5 plugged/very tight draw in the last couple of weeks.
2 JLP petit cazadores, 1 Conquistador Robusto and a Inka Blue petit robusto.

Only ones that seem good to go are Puritos!
                            Very frustrating!

Very bad luck for you too sir!

I've smoked over the last few years plenty both the Inca PCs and a load of JLP petite cazadores not one I've noted as plugged or hard draw. [emoji53]
