Glad to see ERDM DT's being matched with the bubbly, perfect match IMHO. I had dinner at 11:00 certainly my earliest), & then took this Pre-rev Jose Gener out of it's wrapper. Can't say I have seen any cello as heavily stained as this one.
Took it down the Smoking lounge, with two coffees, as they couldn't even get the non alcoholic beer out in time.

For this of you who have never smoked a Pre-rev cigar, they can be flat or very muted but occasionally they surprise & delight. I sparked this one up to celebrate 42yrs to the day my mother gave my my first cigar! Can't remember what brand it was, probably a Hamlet or similar.

So on my 60th Christmas, I smoked one that was probably older than me (that's getting harder & more expensive to find).

Good cold draw,. Lit easily, surprised by the initial flav, had a few puffs before starting on the coffee, to savour the more delicate background flav's.

Settled into a good med smoke, burned slow, Ash held on for over half the length. Lasted 70mins, not bad, my avge PC time is 45mins.

Alas, the Yorkshire Wolds!

Dinner cooked and consumed so now enjoying a Connie A from 2016, from a split by [MENTION=13431452]RobBooth[/MENTION] in 2018. My first Connie A and I can see why people love these. Somewhat lighter than I prefer but tons of flavour and perfect construction & draw.

A 6.3% 'Platform C' IPA from Scots brewery Fallen Brewing and a splash of Green Spot to accompany.
