• My first bomb

I've been smoking cigars for less than a year, and whilst I spend more than my fair share of time browsing ukcf I wasn't really familiar with what a bomb was. On a 'what are you smoking' thread I mentioned that lanceros are "classy af' and that I should get some, or something, and Tomm783 asked me to pm him. Which I did, asking what he had for sale. But no, he wanted to give them to me for like, free, which was a surprise as I've never really chatted to the chap here, let alone met him. However, I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, so offered to pay postage (which he didn't accept in the end), sent him my address and a couple of days later (tonight) I came home to this.

Thank you so much brother! These look amazing! Next sunny day I shall get out there and smoke one for sure. Incredibly generous of you - I'm genuinely shocked. What a great community.

      Enjoy them mate!

If you?ve not smoked a Lancero before, one word of advice - take your time so it doesn?t get too hot.

Let me know what you think!

            Very nice. Good job Tom.

I don't know NC, but that JSK Red Knight Lancero is a great stick.

            Give them 90 minutes.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Spot on on the Red Knight. Quite difficult to come-by too.

Nor my wife, 'its a gift Dear, I didn't buy it.' 'But you sent him something earlier so it was a swap'. 'No, that was a gift with no expectation of receiving a return, just BOTL sharing the joy of sharing smokes, when they can't actually smoke them together'. You'll all crazy, the money....ect ect.'

With women it always seems to come down about the money, like they can actually wear 70+prs of shoes. On my 60th I smoked a Cohiba EL2003, which the week before had been sold at auction for ?169 per stick but I only paid ?25 yrs ago. Instead of being impressed (asking too much there) she just said I can't believe you're going to burn ?25 in one evening.' So I didn't both mentioning the other two smokes we had before it!

It is a crazy, crazy hobby. Habbit? I dunno. I'd previously have baulked at spending ?50 on a bottle of scotch that would last me a month. Now 2 or 3 cigars/hours smoking can cost that...
