@ ha_banos, well it is if you have a room prepared for it. In this case I have a dedicated wine cellar, insulated and all, so just get the drywall off and install wooden boards and trim in stead. The blacksmith makes the door. But in total, because you can’t just pick any wood and the cedar shelves are terribly expensive, the 20 sqf WIH will run into 2500.
@moteyi, yes I’m aware of that. But I have a fair amount of great tools and got lazy - please don’t start my TAD (tool acquisition disorder) again, - I’m long over that
@Vitola, thanks Al, well you garden smoke hut project was a lot bigger and smarter - and more work I guess

‘A’ fancy hygro? No, no,no,no,no,no.no! @ha_banos would never leave it it just ‘a’ hygro.... we need back-ups, validators, checks, balances, 3 different battery types, and options for different wifi protocols.... then and only then might we sleep on the thorny problem of the one true hygro to rule them all.... my precious....

Sampling rates. Error correction. Mobile notification. On your watch. 3D humidity maps with realtime animated heat maps. Big data analytic predictive seasonal adjustments. Oh man...
