  • A bit of a comeback

Hi everyone. Hope you?re all well. As some of you may recall I sold most of my small collection last year due to the changes in my health - namely the reflux I?d been really suffering with which was made a lot worse every time I?d had a stick.
Anyway, recently I made some changes to my life. I?ve been going to the gym regularly and made some changes to my diet. I?m aiming to lose around 17kg in weight and so far am 4kg in. Im feeling so much better - haven?t had an antacid in a month.
So much better in fact that I decided I?d buy a few cigars! Whilst I haven?t smoked in months I am looking forward to the warmer weather so I can enjoy the evenings with a nice Cuban again!
Anyway, just thought I?d swing by and say hello and I?ll keep you posted on the purchases.

I can empathise. I know I really need to diet when reflux & heart burn hits me. Diet... exercise and all of a sudden life without gaviscon is pretty good!! keep going and goodf luck on hitting your goal!

Very happy to hear your on the right road Stevo & back in touch. I won't say I told you so but ..... I did say give it time & treatment. But perhaps if you had the cigars at home you wouldn't have been as strict as you have been & losing weight & getting fitter is bound to help your S&S. Unfortunately you seem to have lost PM rights but as soon as you get that back, PM me & I am sure I can offer a suitable selection of summer smokes to reward your efforts towards better overall health.

Nice one Steve. Hope the cigars don't upset your digestive tract. Just keep an eye on things. If you end up with indigestion through smoking, it might mean cigars aren't for you

                              Hi Rich,
I went back to using the Fitbit. For me it?s perfect. Plot your current weight etc, and your target weight and it gives you a timescale and calorie intake to get there. I?ve been running and cycling at the gym and just generally cut things out. Only drinking on a Friday until the weight is down. I?m not massive but definitely over weight!
