Hi all, my name is Paul and I live in Cornwall, UK. I used frequent the forum a lot some six years ago. Sold off my collection of cigars in order to buy a motorcycle. Riding became my favourite past time and I stopped smoking cigars and frequenting the forum. Been getting into it again this winter. Picked up a new used humi and have a few nice things in it. I wish I didn't go all-in with my hobbies as I do...but there we are.

I see a lot of names I recognize. Looking forward to getting my PM's and sale section back so I can keep filling the humidor...but I guess I need to stick around longer and not disappear again!

It was a Bonneville T100. Reminded me of my first bike in America, which was a Honda CB550SS. Rode it for a year and had a situation where I needed to make an emergency stop. Back end fish tailed all over the road and almost lost control. A month later I traded up for a BMW R1200R with ABS and traction control. Cornwall and close calls are a given in Cornish lanes; tractors around blind corners, hedge rocks in the road, etc.

Beautiful bike you can?t beat the classics but triumph did come very late to the party with adding abs to their classicly styled bikes and after having close calls myself it is a god send!
