  • Paul from Cornwall

Hi all, my name is Paul and I live in Cornwall, UK. I used frequent the forum a lot some six years ago. Sold off my collection of cigars in order to buy a motorcycle. Riding became my favourite past time and I stopped smoking cigars and frequenting the forum. Been getting into it again this winter. Picked up a new used humi and have a few nice things in it. I wish I didn't go all-in with my hobbies as I do...but there we are.

I see a lot of names I recognize. Looking forward to getting my PM's and sale section back so I can keep filling the humidor...but I guess I need to stick around longer and not disappear again!

Great website by the way. I see all the pipes are sold - have you packed it in now or working on a new batch?

No, I haven't packed it in, but it's very much only a hobby now and I don't get a lot of time in the workshop. There are a lot of pipes on the workbench; I'll get to them eventually. Pipes are a dying craft in the UK and has become near impossible to squeak a living out of it. Three years ago I decided to pursue a new career as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist. I'll be fully qualified by September. I'll still keep pipe making as part of my life...it's a good form of personal therapy!
