I like QdO. Have a few friends who smoked it and they all didn't like it.

Did they say why they didn't like it?

All said that it was way too green with lots of pepper and that it didn't taste Cuban at all. I will pick one up soon to try. I remember that the Hexagone had similar taste when released but it's smoking great now.

You're not alone Steve. I've never had a regular production Qd'O that I've been in love with.
The REs on the other hand have all been really good....

I agree, had some good RE, but reg prod is not top. Not my taste probably, can someone who loves explain what exactly is fantastic about them?

Wood, cedar, some creamy notes and a hint of sweetness. Supposed to taste like old school Cuban cigars not that I know what that means since the oldest CCs that I've smoked dated from the mid 90s. I have an 80s Boli that I have been saving for the right occasion though.

Thanks Mike. I am not a qdo specialist, i think i smoked about 20 in total. Got you on most of the flavours you list, i never had the real sweetness though

I always found them slightly vegetal in flavour

Gregs CotM a QdO. Very nice had some sweetness to it. Not what I remembered from before.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

I?ve gotten just a hint of sweetness in most. PeeJay is right, there definitely are some floral notes as well.

Hell yes, of the few I've had.
