Peterson/ Dunhill tobaccos.....

hey all,
what's everyone's thoughts on these? I love the dunhill nightcap and deluxe navy rolls..... the Peterson balkan delight is another favourite, it was my go to when dunhill stopped doing their nightcap! These are the only VAPERs I like to be honest.......

You're saying the Dunhill DNR is the only VAPER you like? Nightcap and Balkan certainly aren't vapers! I haven't tried the Peterson remakes of Dunhill, but from what I hear they are the same. I'm still working through my stash of Dunhill, even have some from Murray era production back from the early 90's. My number 1 is 965, then Nightcap and EMP. LOVE Royal Yacht, but that one is a love it or hate it blend.

If you like DNR, you might consider trying Escudo or Peter Stokkebye Luxury Bullseye Flake.

Agreed, those PS bullseyes are good, need some more now you remind me. Escudo is very good too for that matter. Need more of that too. A different thing but I?m enjoying some McClelland Dark Star these days along with Robert McConnell Scottish Cake.

Hey Larrysson..... as far as I know, NightCap, DeluxeNavyRolls, BalkanDdelight all are Virginia and perique blends (with latakia)..... hence VA/PER..... out of the 3 of these, deluxe navy rolls is my least favourite (but I do like it), nightcap is my favourite! The owner of Miss Moran's here in Belfast recommended Gawith's 'cabbie's mixture'..... saying it's similar to DNR.....

EMP and 965 have had me interested for sure..... I've just not tried them! Dunhill Durbar was another I really liked..... pity Peterson didn't acquire the recipe for that!

hey puropunch..... a Va/Per is a Virginia & Louisiana perique blend, well that's what I understand it to be! Lol! Nightcap is a right powerhouse...... it has Virginia, perique, latakia and Turkish/ orientals, it's quite heady and incense like.....

it's my go to after a long day at work and I don't have the energy to spend on a good cigar........... there's something about it that's soooooo relaxing...... it's a nice way to spend late at night at the back door with a strong cup of tea (I've a stable door at the rear of my property, so I can open the top half, lean on the closed bottom half and watch the moon and stars for 15-20mins)
