you are unlikely to regret it... but do wait for a summers day... smoked mine sat in the shade on a Greek island, staring out at the Ionian Sea... hard life.

I've also read this. It seems counter intuitive to me that the wrapper would comprise a relatively small portion of the total tobacco yet produce the most flavour in a cigar. In any case my understanding is, with CCs at least, that wrappers are picked primarily for how they look? I know that NCs come in many different wrappers, which are presumably a carefully crafted component of the overall blend. But these wrappers have been grown and cured to produce specific characteristics. But if cubans wrappers come from the same plant would it be a determining factor when it comes to blending? I know that CCs are blended using different leaves from the plant but are wrappers specially always just one type of leaf? Also, just by looking at a large RG cigar next to a skinny; it doesn't look like the ratio of wrapper to filler/binder is actually that different between the two. Maybe I'm just overthinking it! I'm at a loss as to why RG makes such a big difference, however I am in no doubt that it does.

Maybe a bit like blending Latakia baccy with pipe blend...far more effect than it's amount would suggest

I like my cigars like my women.
Prefer skinnies to large ring gauge.

I bet the popularity of the corona size will take a hit.

I like them all tbh, but if pushed to choose my perfect vitola is the Corona gorda .

Depending on the mood I?ll smoke most anything. But given the time out of choice I prefer a Robusto.

Not to fond of anything to fat or long (ooh er Mrs) as I eventually get board with them.

I prefer larger. Rarely bother with anything smaller than a robusto, I'm a fair weather smoker though which makes a difference I think.

The only two petit coronas I've tried, Siglo II and Por Larranga were both either plugged or much tighter than I'm used to and basically wasted smokes. Reyes and Secretos are ok but for a fair weather smoker, not enough of an 'event'.

Incidentally, the last box I bought was a box of Alec Bradley Texas Lancero. Haven't lit one up yet though, they were more of a novelty buy.
