  • Excerpts from a book

I was given a beautiful two book edition published by Gerard Pere et Fils when it was published in 2002 simply called Cigars. One book talks of the various Cuban marca the other about choices, clubs and so forth....

You?ll have to zoom into these pictures but they make for interesting reading on the ?Cigar Du Jour? choices for different times of day for various stages of cigar enthusiasts! Enjoy!

Is that the book with the silk ribbon holding it together? I've got that one. Gorgeous book

That's the very one... I was given it some 18 years ago and happened upon it yesterday and with a few moments to spare I re-acquainted myself with it!

Are Monte A's really as mild as that to smoke after just a light meal? I always imagined with the size it would creep up on you

Bolivars have got much milder in recent years, we always used to recommend having a decent meal before one.

Gotcha... this was from 2002 .... I reckon it was a bold call to put it out there as an aperitif but still it was at the back end of a big days smoking...!
