Just because 80 percent get mild symptoms means the rest are getting it bad. And with the hospitals packed good luck getting any treatment.

I've just read in the Sunday Telegraph that the Italians are considering denying intensive care to anyone over 80 or those already in poor health as their health service is overwhelmed.

In France half the people who are in intensive care are younger than 50.

Probably seen by other people, I saw a report of a crying Italian doctor that needed to select which people would be treated with the knowledge that those who don?t get treatment would die. This must be horrific

Earlier this week, I asked my father who is in his 90's what he would do if he got the virus. He retorted I've already had a great life son, give someone younger a chance. He just sounded really pragmatic that if his time was up it was up.

It is Steve, I would hate if he caught it. He is taking every precaution to keep himself to himself and my brothers live very near to him if he needs anything

Your dad's an amazing man.... Hope he keeps well!

Then there are those retards who are stockpiling like idiots and don't even realise they may be depriving those who are vulnerable and poor i.e. don't have a car to take big shopping bags home or are elderly/don't have someone to do their shopping for them....people who are panic buying disgust me! Sorry.

They reported at our local Tesco store yesterday, someone stealing something out of an elderly persons shopping trolley as there were non of the items any longer on the shelves. Another shopper spotted them, and confronted the idiot - with a full scale fight ensuing - some people what arseholes

Yes, I went home to stock up on essential supplies as well. Back at my girlfriends now, waiting for the government to announce total confinement.

You've done the right thing. Grab some smokes and go to your girlfriends.
Got to have something to do when you can't go out.
