Any of you folk brew your own drink?

Was bottling day for me today, had 6 bottles of apple cider, 6 bottles of vimto cider and 6 bottles of blackcurrant and blueberry. Spare pint left so drank that at 10.50.

Also put mango, lemon n lime and another apple batch on!

I used to as well...must get back into it was good fun, just did beers but would fancy doing some cider. Do you use kits or from apples? Or juice?

Its turbo cider so from apple juice, this is only my second brew and the bottles were my first. That pint I had left over was better than anything I've tasted shop brought.

I tired this a few years ago...didn't go down well...what did you do after getting the apple juice and where did you store it?

Mine are in the spare bedroom on a heat pad, when I tasted them they were really good.

I've bottled and cold crashed them and now they're in the hut carbing up so they pop.

Another bottling day for me, mango cider, lemon/lime cider and apple.

                    All around 6.5%

Nice one! I've done a second year batch of elderflower champagane (hey I'm a modern guy) - last year's doesn't have much taste if I'm honest and I'm hoping for better.

The elderflower is from a bush/tree that hangs into my garden, so it's fully home based!

Popular method is to use slush syrups so here we go.

                        Fruit salad
                        Bubblegum
                        Rhubarb and custard

What are the kits like these days please?

I remember getting one back in the day from Boots and it tasting like flat beer that had been mine-swept after a weekend at a wedding.

I was on furlough during April and contemplated it but didn’t bother in the end.

I've got a few apple trees in our garden and it's looking like a bumper crop this year so I fancy making cider. Any hints or tips?
