I?m not a fan of either the Mail or Express as in my opinion the are upmarket red tops, but then again I think the Guardian is also biased and left wing. The Times used to, in my opinion, give a fairly bi-partisan point of view, but in recent years has drifted further right. I suppose you pays your money and takes your choice. Important thing in my view is to read widely and hopefully the truth is somewhere in the middle.

It is, and some of the opinion pieces on there are utterly crazy extreme left stuff but their actual news tends to be factual. No news is perfect, but the closest you'll find to highly factual and centre ground is from places like the BBC.

BBC is generally factual, but again in recent years they have stopped reporting on anything that might be conceived as controversial or unfavourable with the politically correct liberal lefties that seem to influence the media nowadays.

I don?t think a non biased news source is possible really but the truth should be the main focus which sadly the Mail are rarely interested in. Plus a lot of their other practises which are much worse!

Though I do find myself missing well written news these days as the standard just of English alone in online news stories seems to have gone to the dogs from all the major companies

I would consider myself a liberal, in the sense of it's original meaning of freedom of people, freedom of market and freedom from discrimination, but i'm not a leftist although the two things seem to have become almost synonomous these days i think they are incompatible. The BBC (and almost all media) seems to be leaning further and further left these days and extreme left views have become much more tolerated and prevailent in media whereas (thankfully) extreme right views are not in the slightest deemed acceptable. I don't particularly favour any single source of media these days and i try to keep what i read as open and varied as possible to avoid any single source of bias.
