Forum upgrade?

Hi all,

This version of Vbulletin is now not being upgrade, and getting a bit long in the tooth. Version 5 has been out for a while so now considered pretty stable.

It comes with it's own reactive mobile site plus a dedicated app, and I know a lot of people are fed up with Tapatalk, including its image handling. Anyone had any experience using either yet?


Full transparancy; it's $359 which is ?288 (those fx rates, sheesh) with the mobile version, so we'd need 25+ people to chip in ?10. Obviously I'll contribute significantly.

Thoughts? I'm not sure it'll be much of a change, but the mobile stuff seems more and more useful considering Tapatalk.


EDIT: Fortunately there's a lower UK GBP price of ?269. However, just realised price is without tax (ffs) so it's ?328....

Not used the vbulleting mobile app. But I expect the mobile browser version is a lot better too. I dont use TT for anyhthing else so I'll be dumping it

Thanks for the support chaps, I just wonder if anyone thinks it's worth it? Not sure it's going to add a lot except the decent mobile layouts etc.
It will have to be done at some point though as this version is pretty much not supported anymore (just a few security updates).
