I never noticed that there was a date on those bottles.

I just checked the one I'm currently using and it expired July 2019, still seems to burn well. Have you got a cheap lighter you can test it in?

The one I?m using expired 2016. As it?s not being ingested I can?t see what can go off. If it burns use it.

likely its to do with the veracity of the seal of the can rather than there be any ill effects of age upon the contents...

Colibri butane fuel.

Thanks to all who have replied, my bottles just stated on bottom DOM then the date stated, I will just give it a try and see how it goes, am sure it will be fine...Just out of interest does anyone know if fake Colibri butane is on the current market my friend informed me this was purchased from the famous auction site.
