I?m a fan of a zippo single jet insert personally but if I was going to spend more than that it would be on an S T DuPont minijet

Use a single jet Xikar allume, been through the triple and quads but felt it was too much.

          Matches were possible too.

Are you thinking soft flame or torch? And what sort of budget? I got an IM Corona double soft flame as an alternative to an ST Dupont (although that's the dream one day).

For a jet lighter, I've recently taken delivery of one of these

Reduced from ?35 on Cgars, only used it once but feels good in the hand and does the job well with the punch and light.

Ive got a Colibri Daytona, strong single jet lighter. Really like the lighter, really solid and well made. varying prices but think they are around ?30-?40 now.

Zippo have also just released their own butane jet and soft flame inserts which are very good and work a look at if you like zippo's

This is a workhorse from Zikar, not sure if they still make them, the cutter it came with is brilliant

I have always like Colibri lights, but generally found they stop working much quicker than I would like, so will be trying Xikar next

Saying that, I do have one which has served me well for years now - I can't remember which one it is now and it doesn't seem to be available now

Had a Colibri Falcon single jet about ?26. 2 year warranty luckily as it packed in after 18 months. 3 repairs done and still didn't work. Got replaced by our sponsor and no issues now for almost a year.
Would I buy another, probably not as the reservoir doesn't seem to last long but it does light cigars efficiently.

I was gonna mention that I've had no luck with colibri lighters, xikar has been fine so far and I've not even accidentally dropped it once!

+1 for the butane Zippo insert. Hasn't let me down and not too pricy

You can get both jet flame and soft flame butane inserts for a Zippo

I opted for a soft flame option.
