  • Snoring!

This is slightly tongue in cheek but...do you recon there is any connection between cigars and snoring? Pre-lock down I had one cigar a week, I'm now on about one a day....around the same time I started really bad snoring!...the missus has moved into the spare room and I keep Waking myself up! Anyone notice they snore more when they smoke more? (I know I could just stop for a bit and see if it make any difference, but I really am loving stogies at the mo!

No I don?t snore either way. But what may be happening are your sinuses becoming slightly blocked with the increase in smoking cigars? I take it you don?t ever do a nasal irrigation - rinsing out your nasal pathways with a saline solution? I do that around once a week and it also helps with your sense of taste and smell

Nope...sounds painful but I might give it a go, sounds like it could help!

I had the same problem funnily enough. I'd be pretty confident it's the fact you're stuck indoors and not doing much physical exertion! As banos has pointed out it can be related to increased weight too. I started light jogging 4 weeks ago and the snoring has stopped. Give it a try. Running isn't much fun to start, so I'd recommend doing something light and doing a run every other day. Consistency is the key [emoji6][emoji1303]

Good shout. I've pretty much halted exercise...prob a combination of factors. Need to get out and about more I guess!

I'm a snorer and I use Tesco Blocked Nose Relief spray before bed every night, MLW says it has definitely helped but obviously not if you're a throat snorer. You may have also contracted hay fever if you're not already a sufferer. I got it about seven years ago, never lose it once you've got it.

No I use one of the hand held nasal sinugator like these NeilMed Sinugator Kit?23.99Chemist.co.ukFor most items:14-day return policy
and then add the salt sachets to boiled/cooled water

I used one of those mouth guards but was horrid to wear and made me dribble.
Lost 3 stone and don't snore any more.
Mind you with no wife to moan I could still do a bit but who cares.

That's the solution then guys - forget the sinus flushing and the running; if she complains, au revoir!
