            Obama.

It's time that there was peace brought back to alot of the world and I would like to think that Obama would be the man to help bring that about, at least I certainly hope so.

I think it's great you guys have opinions on this election. It's a big one for us. I was on the fence this election, but typically vote Republican. I literally did not make up my mind until I got to the polls tonight. I stood in line for a half hour weighing all of the pros and cons for each candidate and by the time I was finished doing that I was standing in front of the voting screen. Let's just hope whomever wins starts to repair the image of Americans as seen by the rest of the world.

Your State has been crawling with politicians over the last week or so. I've had my ears on red alert for your corner of the world.

It seems you and everyone else there is a swinger, so I guess Sarah Palin has helped on that score.

McCain stopped smoking yonks ago. Obama is known to have smoked a cigarette as recently as last Summer, so there is some wickedness in his DNA. A bad man.

I saw that smoking thing there in some cigar-related article or other online this week.

Do we get the reveal of your swing soon, Sput?

Are Democrats allowed to smoke cigars, or does it cause a class war?

I voted Obama. I guess I wasn't the only one who switched parties last night. Let's just hope Obama makes some great decisions; I think we're due for some of those right now.

I agree with you totaly on that Larry, I've watched snippets of Obama's campaign speeches and he definitely struck me as being a man who is someone that can not just be a good president, but a great president for all americans

Barack clearly put Mc Cain in his place

The election in my view was pretty much a dead cert victory for Mr Obama from the outset. I was slightly apprehensive at the thought of Sarah Palin being Vice President. She was duped by the Canadian who called claiming to be Nicolas Sarkozy finding her telephone number after a week of searching.

Another worrying comment I saw in Yahoo today. Apparently she thought Africa was a country as opposed to a continent.

And to top it all off Mr Bush remains till the New Year.

Unfortunately so, but at least it gives Obama and his team of deligates to get up to speed with what's going on and to be able to find their own ways of sorting out whatever needs sorting out

The Presidential speech? Classic or carefully choreographed?

Wondered what you thought of Mr Obama's first speech to the people en masse in Chicago?

Certainly nothing was left to chance even the bullet proof glass surrounded him.

The worry might be that someone may try to bump him off before he gets into office.

I thought that his speech in Chicago was bang on target, he comes across as being a man who is genuinely interested in wanting to not just make a change, but to make a good change that everyone can be involved in and be apart of, to make things better not only for the American people, but for various other countries around the world, and I have a gut feeling that he is the right man for the job

I had that same thought cross my mind as well, but I would like to think that he will be given the fair and proper chance to do what he's been voted in to do
