?45 is for the largest in the range but again, if we believe the marketing this is the best one! The smaller ones dont live up to the hype, supposedly.

I'm not convinced, I guess the proof will be in the pudding...
are we talking spotted dick here?????

I agree with you kdot, those prices are outrageous! Does feel like they are ripping us off but i will reserve judgement until i see what others think of them though.

I'm not convinced, I guess the proof will be in the pudding...Ive paid ?40 for a single stick in the past but sometimes I believe the boys at habanos are treating us like a big fat cuddly cash cow, where as a lot of us are just hard working, skinny, arthritic, average Joe, cigar smoking bovine that are slowly heading to the slaughter house and having our pockets emptied at the same time.
Have to agree with most of what you say Kam. As I said before Cohiba want to be known as "the" prestige brand of CC's.
I think that this range is aimed more at those out to impress more than to those who appreciate a regular good smoke (not that I'm saying it won't be a good smoke). Plenty of them will be bought to have on show in the office or as corporate gifts and we all know that this market will pay big bucks for the kudos. Its just another niche market to be exploited, so good luck to Cohiba for targetting it.
For the rest of us, if its special enough to warrant the price tag, we will all probably want one or two in the humi for special occassions, but will stick to our own personal choice of the more affordable old favourites.

          LOL

Right! I think I'll try that out too... Here goes nothing:

Boo hoo... Oh boo hoo... I really am down on my luck... if only there was someone who could find it in their heart to cheer me up with some free Beeheekays... (sniffle)

          How was that?

            corporate greed anyone???
Like the man said, you don't actually have to buy them if you don't want too!

            This is pure market economics.

Why do Rolls and Ferrari build cars that sell for hundreds of thousands of pounds? We all aspire to owning a Ferrari while few of us can afford one.

            Who calls Ferrari greedy?

The original Behike is still on sale at the Lainsborough for ?1,500 per stick!!! Last time I checked they had sold 20+ and I suspect they are still selling well.

I think that you just have to reconcile yourself to the fact that other than the odd one to be able to say we smoked one, most of us are just not the target market

Just got a price update, they have been slightly lowered

                Greetings from sunny London,

May the 12th sees the UK launch of Cohiba Behikes and as expected allocations are very very tight.
Clients who have already pre-ordered have priority but need to confirm they wish to proceed.
Place pre-orders early using links below or emailing us at sales@cgarsltd.co.uk .

The latest line of Cohiba - the Behikes aka ' BHK'

A limited annual production so when they are gone - that's it for the year.

I think that makes them a candidate for laying down, maturing and collecting and many of my clients
are already making 10 year plans for laying down a quantity of BHK's annually.

The BHK's have a different blend to the 40th anniversary Behikes (aged 5 years)
as well as an extra Medio tiempo filler leaf which will give the cigar a very distinct flavour characteristic
as this is a dark leaf from the top of the plant.

These splendid Havanas are presented in boxes of 10.
We have also made a sampler pack available.

The good news is that prices are now lower than we expected !!!

Don't worry if you pre ordered you will only be charged the new reduced price :-)

Don't diss it till you've tried them chaps- this is a ridiculously good cigar

Price point may not be for everyone - granted but these cigars are different from others in many ways not just price

If you like I'll put together a tasting in Town at a UKCF preferential rate so you can decide for yourselves

                  Best

Mitch, does the sampler come in a presentation box by any chance, or just packaged together?

... at that sort of price it ought to come in an Aston Martin!

                      Sorry Lee/Mitch .... couldn't resist!
If you want to, you can.

I was hoping to get a couple of boxes of the original release, but pretty pricey

I'll go halfs on a single with you!
