I had loads of r&j churchills and i am partial to punchs as they have a great taste, very much the same as uppmanns as they taste very simular.dont know if any of you guys have tried jose piedras nacionalle as i find these cubans very pleasing and great cigars for little money.

Two smaller cigars that I have tried recently was a Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos, beautiful little cigar with lots of smoke and great flavours and a Hoyo De Monterrey Petit Robusto, starts off mild and just builds as you smoke it.

            Both medium smokes.

I don't normally smoke cigars of this length, but if you want a quality cigar and don't have a lot of time I would highly recommend both.

              .

Interesting recommendations, I'm with you that they can both be amongst the best available.

I'd say this though fom my experience with the smokes.

Cohiba Secretos. I've had a few all from different boxes. They are wildly variable in temrs of consistency, with no apparent way of telling whether you are buying a great cigar or a shoddy one.

Hoyo PR. Generally a superlative smoke, but seems to be very affected by its wrapper colour. Lighter wrappers deliver sweet cream and light milk coffee flavours. Just like its big brother the Epicure no.2 tends to. Darker wrappers are much more full bodied and spicier. Both are good, just depends what you prefer.
