He mainly rolls Robusto. If you ask him nicely he may roll you something specific, being a top roller he is able to roll all shapes and sizes of Vitola but in the past I have heard he is somewhat limited by the size of the wrapper he is sent.

I find his standard blend to be medium to medium strong so likely to be acceptable to most.

Just in case, don't forget to smoke it within 10 days (max) of rolling, before they go 'sick'. I have found them to be best after 2-3 days resting in your humidor. You will wonder why you waited so long.

Thanks Nic, hadn't completely forgotten about the whole 'sick' ammonia freshly rolled thing!
Read about it months ago, but obviously didn't pay attention.

Will give it a few days in the humi and then light her up.

I assume he will be fine with you taking photos - he was with me doing so! If you haven't seen the video on my blog, take a look.

    Hi all,

Sorry for the slow responses as I haven't been checking the forum for the last few days.

I think Nic has answered most queries but just in case:
    - It is no problem to photo / film
    - No problem asking for custom sizes although Hamlet may be running low on wrappers for a 'triple fabuloso'
    - If you cannot get down to us please call me at the shop (020 7930-3079) and we should be able to send you a couple in the post.

    Cheers,
    Eddie

I popped into Davidoff yesterday and Eddie told me that he had 25 of Hamlet's product (Robusto) which had been made for a customer but not collected.

They are 18 each and have been stored for two weeks in their humidor. They smell wonderful, an amazing floral bouquet quite unlike anything I have ever smelt.

Well they now have 24 left so you should get there quick. The forum gets first digs before they go on general sale.

    wish this was smellivision!!

I have to say while not the best stocked shop in town I would advise Botl to head over to Segar and Snuff in Covent Garden instead, he had the roller in yesterday and today and is also stocking up on the freshly rolled, but he is charging a far more reasonable 12 a stick OR the best bit is if you spend 18 in the shop you can buy the freshly rolled for 3 a pop, so I bought a Monte Sublime yesterday and got myself four freshly rolled Churchill's for 3 each !!!

If anyone does, would they mind grabbing me a churchill? I'll pay of course. He was only rolling robustos in Cardiff...
