    forbidden x in the afternoon.
i kinda like the way that sounds...lol

    pretty solid cigar,nice chocolate smell.
the box says 2005,the band says 2006 (note to self: check into that)

used a punch, torched the foot to a nice rosey red glow, and started puffing.
creamy chocolate with a spicy background to start with.

gives me that feeling on my tongue, like when i sip my hot chocolate before it cools

1/3 in and spice is king! chocolate has turned to more of a cocoa and cedar has made an appearance, along with a little earthiness.
    perfect draw,tons of smoke

a very complex cigar. with every puff i'm picking up multiple flavors.
    nice white ash,very solid

halfway and the flavors are merging, blending, and balancing so very nice. i like it when they get along.
slow, even, cool burn. i may be here a while folks.

yeah,i'm diggin' it,break out the crayons and color me happy!!

2/3 in and i'm enjoying cedary cocoa with a light creamy spice.
my lazy afternoon is turning into a pleasant evening. definitely need to make sure you have a couple of hours set aside when you smoke one of these cigars. it's in no hurry and neither am i.
gotta remove the bands soon. they feel kinda tight on there.

3/4 in and you name it and it's happening!
cocoa, spice, cedar, cream, earth, and a little sweetness to be named later,if it picks up enough for me to tell what it is.
the bands came off fairly easy, the 2006 one tore a little,no damage to the cigar though.
very smooth draw, perfect burn, cool smoke. a bonafide adventure!

heading for the nub with excitement and sadness.
same flavors as before and i'm happy about that, because in this case, change would be a bad thing.

nubbing it with a peppery, cedar, cocoa, and very light cream action.
i understand now why they named this cigar forbidden.
if it was known how much fun it is to smoke, they would pass a law making it illegal.

fantastic cigar from start to finish. easily made it into my top 5 favorites.
i'm gonna sleep with the rest of the nub under my pillow tonight,in hopes that the forbidden fairy will bring me another one!

thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed the review!

Another great review Shuckmaster--if that is in your top 5, then it must be a wonder of a cigar. Your pillow must smell a bit smoky, though.

Excellent review and great pictures Ron. Sounds a really fine cigar.

See you wore the hat for the occasion too. Has the Stetson been relegated.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

Enjoyed the review Shucks and what makes it even more special is the fact that I have never smoked a decent Opus X.

Are these meant to be even more special...

Might just be me....No, it must be me..lol

Nice box too, I do love cigars that come in boxes..adds that extra touch.
