  • My Father

Hello cigar buddies! It's been awhile since I have communicated. I have been working on my third novel attempt, family business, and, of course my political and satirical weblog.

But I missed the UK Cigar Forum.

My latest cigar is My Father (Nicaragua) by the Garcia Family directed by Don Pepin. Full bodied. Tasty. Too often I have smoked cigars that have left my mouth dry, or the wet tobacco flavour from my mouth tastes bitter. One of my tobacconists suggested something sweeter with complexity, several flavours. I tend to smoke from 2 to 4 a day.

Hand rolled by the main main himself only and in individual coffins. Hard to find but about 20 dollars if you can, I think.

I have lots of the red band tat and gone off them, way too spicy even for me! Get BROWN label instead I suggest.

Put me down for a My Father LE if you find them! LOL

If you are going for Tats, ask them to keep an eye out for any of the limited editions like the Verites. The my father le is as T said hand rolled by Pepin himself with his son Jaime. Technically they are for sale in B&M's only (though i just got an email that Corona has them online), so Barclay Rex may indeed have some.

If you fancy a really nice cigar from the My Father line, try the Jaime Garcia Reserva, i just had another this morning and it was one of the best cigars ive had all year.

They are 6 1/2 x 52 Toro. 12 coffins per box and only 2000 boxes were made.
